I use a non-printing box for to assign several "variables" that show up
throughout one of my template documents.
I display the "variable" throughout the document by choosing, Insert -> Fields
-> Other -> Variables -> ShowVariable. In version 3.6, I this function worked
for the main text of the document and for headers/footers. In version 4.0, it
only works for the main text and does not work for headers/footers.
