Bug ID: 149451
Summary: Prevent imported images from overlapping
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.3.1.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Hello,
When I drag images into Word, it places them one after the other.
With Libre Office, it superimposes them.
I read on the Open Office forum the answer:
Right click on the image then choose "Anchor = As character", so that the
second imported image is not superimposed on the 1st. That's okay.
But how to avoid having to redo the manipulation at each image?
I read this tip on the Open Office forum:
Just change the Image frame style to the default template:
- open the default template (File>Templates>Manage)
- insert a picture
- set anchor to As character
- check that in the stylist, the Image frame style is selected
- in the stylist toolbar, click on the icon on the far right and select Update
Style
- delete the image and save the model.
But it doesn't work with Libre Office...
When I add an image, the anchor of it is "To character" and not "As character".
Consequences: the images overlap themselves.
On Open Office, there exists an addon to do that but it doesn't work with Libre
Office.
