--- Comment #3 from [email protected] --- Thanks for looking into this. I now have 4.0.2.2, and the situation is more bearable now. The formatting toolbar still grays out quickly when creating and initially writing the comment. However, I can finish the comment, click somewhere else and then reselect the comment to format the text. I am adding an attachment: - File created with LibreOffice. - Sample text entered. - File saved as .docx and reopened. - Consecutive comments added will gray out the formatting toolbar. I also notice, like in e.g. bug 37130, that comments for some reason use the system default font rather than the default font in Options -> LibreOffice Writer -> Basic Fonts.
