            Bug ID: 153443
Summary: Scrolling stutters in Writer as soon as a page is
                    filled with characters
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
As soon as a Writer document starts to fill up with characters, scrolling
becomes super slow / stuttery. Thus, scrolling through a long document is very
painful. And the faster I scroll, the more it stutters - so skipping multiple
pages in a second, I only see about 1 fps. I jumped from LibreOffice 7.0 to 7.5
today, and noticed this difference immediately, working in the same document
(also tried this with new document and random text, can repeat it). I did *not*
have this same issue with 7.0.

MacOS 12.5.1
1,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a healthy amount of characters on a page or multiple pages
2. Start scrolling.

Actual Results:
Very slow scrolling.

Expected Results:
Smooth scrolling

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
