            Bug ID: 153480
Summary: EDITING: It is impossible to enter "IPv6" in a
                    LibreOffice Calc 7.5 cell
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I am trying to type "IPv6" into a LibreOffice Calc cell.

If I type [I][P][v][6] and press [Enter], it results in "Ipv6". Similarly, if I
type [I][P][v][6] and press [Space], I get "Ipv6 ".

If I try to outsmart LibreOffice Calc by typing
[I][P][v][6][Space][<-][<-][<-][Backspace][P], that's a no-go, because the
first [<-] immediately moves me to the previous cell.

If I type [I][P][v][6][Space][Enter] and let LibreOffice Calc think it won,
then select the cell again, placing the caret just after the "p", and typing
[Backspace][P] - but, here's the trick - moving the caret by typing
[->][->][->] before pressing [Enter], that results in "IPv6<space>". Very
close. If I select the cell again, deleting the extra character, and pressing
[Enter]... ouch. My biggest mistake was thinking I could outsmart LibreOffice
Calc.

I could come up with one more method that doesn't work: typing 'IPv6.
LibreOffice Calc sees right through this mischevious move.

Some workarounds that do work:
- Inserting "IPv6" as the formula ="IPv6". Downsides: the cell contains a
formula instead of just data. Annoying to enter and to edit.
- Copy-pasting "IPv6" from somewhere else. Downsides: every time you need to
input the sequence "IPv6", you have to copy-paste again.
- Unzipping the ods container and manually editing content.xml. Downsides:
none, when using nvim, the best rich text editor in circulation: it has a
built-in zip file manager
- Probably tweaking some setting. Downsides: don't really want to tweak the
settings of a spreadsheet program just to type "IPv6". In fact, I have never
opened the settings and - no offense - with all the cognitive load that this
tech society already imparts upon me, I have no intention of doing that just to
be able to type "IPv6" in a spreadsheet :)

Please pardon the tone of this bug report. It's really meant as a joke in good
spirits. It's just a pretty grotesque situation which irreparably interrupted
my workflow. More seriously, it's a quite serious usability problem for me that
LibreOffice Calc doesn't have any quickly accessible option to override a
correction (e.g. the little drop-down that Microsoft Office gives you whenever
it autocorrects something, or you can just type [Backspace] immediately after a
correction to cancel it.) I'm quite serious when I say that it's unacceptable
to me to have to tweak the settings of the program to be able to write "IPv6"
in a cell.

I understand that this might be a highly subjective point of view, but since
this is not the first time that my experience with LibreOffice is one of
frustration (and it's always the small things), I wanted to give some honest
feedback.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type IPv6 in a cell

Actual Results:
Ipv6

Expected Results:
IPv6

Reproducible: Always
