It was not _necessary_. You mean to say, it was a hack which avoided a problem
by breaking the feature with which the problem manifstered.

So, is it also possible to perform several distinct undoable tasks with a
textbox? and that only this entering-the-edit-box thing prevents us from being
able to undo them individually?
