I'm using and building LibreOffice on Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon.

You have a screenshot for that? I See the ^ and v arrows right under and right
above the scrollbar. I think that's the good behavior (but I use Cinnamon).

I can not confirm that ... it works as it should here.
