Negative - there is an alias symlink to /usr/local/MacGPG2/bin Generally it is not a good idea to have multiple gpg instances installed. But that is not the case on my mac (except for the gpgme, that may be coming with LibreOffice?). @Alex: when you mention old certs being not usable for encryption, are you referring to old OpenPGP keys? If that is the case, keep in mind that weak algorithms may no longer be supported in newer gpg releases. I don't think that that is related to the issue in LibreOffice around the hang / crash though. You can send me an email with the key details and algorithms if you are interested in discussing further, but since that is outside the scope of this bug, we should take that elsewhere. Patrick: I tried to get a sample from gpg process when recreating the hang, but the output of that was blank.
