--- Comment #12 from osnola <[email protected]> --- As far as MS Word files are concerned, this is normal. libmwaw recognizes fonts ending in " CY" or " CYR" as Cyrillic fonts. So if you can change the font name in the original file, it will work. As far as the Excel files are concerned, you need to find out which filter is called to open these files (it's not libmwaw: see https://sourceforge.net/p/libmwaw/wiki/Home/ for the list of formats recognised by libmwaw).
