--- Comment #3 from ady <[email protected]> --- The Clear Direct Formatting action works correctly (but perhaps not necessarily as expected). There are several ways this can be tested and arrive to this conclusion. In this regard, this report would not be a bug. Having said that… My guess is that the reporter refers to the way the email address (or any hyperlink-like text) is displayed, considering that Calc "detects" the text as an email address and shows it as a hyperlink (underlined, blue font, gray background). If you click once on the cell with the email address, then click on another cell and then back to the cell with the email address, the "fake" format is not shown and so the content of the cell is displayed as normal text. If, instead, you move to the relevant cell by using arrow keys, the "fake" format is used again. If you focus on the relevant cell and click on the "=" icon on the formula bar, and then edit the text, the "fake" format can be avoided in a more-permanent way. I am not sure whether there is a way to improve this situation. I am just describing the current methods to change the perception and presentation of the hyperlink (or of the email address in this case). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
