I forgot that rc versions are only notified in the 3.6 branch. In branch 3.5 only final versions were considered for updates. However the version numbering problem reported here still remains https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46354 The current message I get is "LibreOffice 3.6.2 is available. The installed version is LibreOffice 3.6.2.1."
