I think that as there are quite a few regressions between 3.5 and 3.6 maybe the update path should be to 3.5.7 and provide the information that 3.6.3 which is considered recommended by TDF is available and provide a link. Maybe nagging people to switch from 3.5.x to 3.6.3 is too premature? In any case I believe there should be a "stable channel" and "beta/development/QA channel" for updates as in Mozilla, as suggested here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48369 This would allow any user to choose the QA channel to be notified of 3.6.4 rc1 or 3.7.0 rc3 regardless if the installed build is a stable or an rc build Just my usual 2 cents :) Best, Pedro -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Libreoffice-qa-Online-update-testing-tp4001812p4016532.html Sent from the QA mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: [email protected] Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
