Note a few things: * there's probably a lot that can still be done with the design (albeit this one has already taken me embarrassingly long, or at least longer than I hoped) * this code won't win contests (it's a mockup!) * I would leave the whole signing into Twitter, counting characters and all the JS-y thigns that don't yet work to you (if you even like the Twitter idea).
