The Xcode project is usable only once a "make" from the command line has succeeded. *Then* you can in Xcode do a build and debug. (But note that building LibreOffice on OS X 10.11 is broken at the moment. I see no reason why that wouldn't be the case for cross-compilation to iOS too. You need to use 10.10.) --tml
