first, many thanks to all for your responses
No need to create the folder first, surely. Until Laurent tells
exactly what his problem was, no use guessing.
i deployed XCode4 in Application by drag and drop
then, launched the XCode 3.2.6 installer and only selected Documentation
and SDK
i target a custom directory Application/xcode3
installing failes with (message in french, i translate)
Unknown installation error occured
please contact the editor
sorry, i'm a bit lost right now ...
