The program on the server remains a SaaSS, it's out of user's control: the user can't modify it on the server, can't learn how it works and so on. also, it is under the control of the admins of the server: they can e.g. snoop on the users. https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/who-does-that-server-really-serve.html
