A recent article on the Cloudflare blog describes the capabilities of Claude Mythos. Cloudflare has experience using LLMs to identify vulnerabilities. Cloudflare is not among the initial members of Project Glasswing. It may be one of the additional 40 or so.

Earlier models just pointed out potential vulnerabilities; Mythos produces proof of concept (PoC). The Cloudflare team observes Claude Mythos producing exploit chains which take advantage of vulnerabilities previously dismissed as insignificant. This means availability of Mythos or anything with similar power will elevate the seriousness of security-related bugs. --- Anthropic announced that Claude Mythos found thousands of serious vulnerabilities across major operating systems. "Thousands" is a vague number. I haven't seen any breakdown of the total. It is possible that thousands of minor issues will become significant ones when Mythos is released. Or it may be that thousands of potential combinations were discovered. It is possible to publish just numbers or percentages without disclosing the details.
