Subject: Everyone - Opinion wanted on this List
Hi!
Given that we've just experienced a ~3 week interruption in service (at
least for me and a few other people), we should plan on having around a
backup service just in case the world crashes again. (These are
rarities, too.)
Ken has created an alternative list at [EMAIL PROTECTED], but the
list messages are not archived in the same database as the Libretto
Mailing List archives (a pretty big database of years of past
postings). No point in fragmenting the mailing list into several lists
at this time, right?
The problem I see now is that there's no way to tell everyone that one
list is down unless someone emails everyone about it (we do have the
alternative list to jump to temporarily).
Do you think we should have a 'mailing list' mailing list kept
seperately just in case?
david =)
