Hi Ken.
I am wondering how much free space you have left after installation of the
new software. Could it be that you now do not have enough space left on
your HD to allow for your RAM to be written to it.
I have established that (according to FDISK) my 110 does not have
unpartitioned space reserved for hibernation. Only 8 MB is not allocated to
either my C: or my D: drive and that is definitely not sufficient for
hibernating my 64 MB of memory.
If that might be the case it would be interesting to see what happens if
you leave the new software installed but free up some space by removing
some other files.
