Some points here:
a) If you don't have any free space partitioned and you start filling your HD to the
brink, the Libretto still suspends and resumes properly, it just starts trodding on
all your data. Not a pretty picture by any stretch of imagination, but since the OS
nor its applications are in a state of stasis between suspension and resume, it
wouldn't affect it.
b) DOS FDISK uses BIOS function calls to read disk geometry, which the Libretto's BIOS
is faking to hide the hibernation area. Something Linux's fdisk which reads disk
geometry directly (well, it doesn't, it reads it from the IDE driver which reads it
directly/reads it from the user at boot, but that's a whole other can of baked beans
;p) would give you a layout of all your space including the hibernation area.
Therefore, as sorry as I am to say it, your point is relatively moot.
