Subject: I am sad ...

Hi all,

As far as I remember I have always try to answer
questions the best that I canned.
By best, I mean the more clearly and, first of all,
the most completely as possible.
It's not a secret that the most often (and this is not
a criticism) member'answers are shorts and sometimes
somewhat vagues.
But, with the arrival of always bigger HDD, questions
concerning their setup and formatting on Lib's are
growing significantly here.
It's for this reason that I have posted on 23/04/2000
a substantial report on methods compatible with Ghost
to format HDD greater than 8Gb.
Unfortunately, because of multiple and needed in and
out swap of the (slightly too high) IBM DARA-212000
used to make the tests, I have also reported that I
have "broken" the internal keyboard of my Lib 110.

I have just see one answer concerning this report and
not ONLY ONE about my ask concerning the "broken"
keyboard.

I am glad and don't understand this poorly reaction
concerning the HDD>8Gb burning question.
Moreover, I am disappointed about the total abscence
of feedback about the keyboard question.

Understand that I have not make all these tests only
for myself (I knowed before satisfying solutions).
Understand also that this message is not an final
goodbye, but in the future, I am not sure that I'll be
ready to spend so much time in these conditions.

I have always hoped (and will still hope) that the
selfishness would go in constant decreasing on this
planet but apparently I am mistaken.
BTW, you can know that my Lib will remain in its
actual bad state because the repair costs are more
expensive that my purchase price (the logic board must
be replaced and I am out of warranty).
So, remember also my warning about changing or
swapping HDD on Lib's (before this bad experience, I
have always trust members feedback).

Voila, I don't search and don't wait any kind of pity,
I just want (of rather I hope) that each of us take a
little moment to think about.
