Try going into display properties and remove the check mark by Automatically
detect plug and play monitors, then reboot.
That's Display Properties| Advanced... | Monitor | uncheck second item. |

Do you mean the enhanced port replicator? (Model PA2719U)

If you are talking about the PA2719U, and it is on the top of it, there
should be two of them along the top front. They lock onto the bottom of the
100/110 and help to keep it attached.
