Hmmm. Then again... Dell made an MPEG PCMCIA card called DVD-to-go
 actually manufactured by Margi )

Kinda neat, it has a dongle to output video/audio or SVGA to a TV set, or
the player application will let you watch movies on the internal LCD without
a dongle.

They have been going for under $100 on eBay.

Anyone see a reason why they won't work on a L50? Assuming, of course, that
one previously copied the VCD movie to your HDD which oughtta be 2.1GB for
that to work.
