OK, after the struggling story (:)) I'll put in my experience.

I run only Linux (modified RH6) on my Lib 100CT, and the 800x480 screen
works, though you have to do some funnys to get int & ext mode for
presentations. The sound works, without paying for the 4Front Tech
driver. IrDA works, which is really cool for doing IR hotsyncs with my
palm under linux. My PCMCIA ethernet card(s) works, my wireless network
cards (Wavelan, Baystack & Webgear) all work. My Iomega Clik! drive
works (I wrote the driver - see my home page). My 8GB drive works. APM
works. Hibernation works, even when I just shut the lid. My PCMCIA
floppy drive works.

My lib goes weeks without rebooting. I just shut the lid :) - it
hibernates - Open the lid - it wakes up. I have Linux set up so that it
recognises different network cards as needing different settings, and
even start up and shut down samba filesharing as required.

In short. It all works. The only thing I couldn't get going were the
ToshUtils that seem to be for another model. Does anyone know if there
is a way to adjust the backlight on a Linux L100CT?

If anyone wants assistance, you know my email address :)
