Nope. Toshiba pulled out of the international market for Librettos around a year or
two ago.

Well, for a *new* unit, a Japanese Libretto is pretty much your best bet. If you don't
want to pay a fortune, a few ff1100v units have been entering the Hong Kong market
recently for a price much lower than Dynamism or JPD offers. If you are interested in
one, I may be able to buy one here, but I'm leaving in a week or two so you'd better
be quick.
I do not like the Casio Fiva (the other *new* alternative) for the following reasons:
* screen pixels packed together way too tightly
* bootable floppy requires port replicator
* not much cheaper than the ff1100v, and once you get past the webcam and remote...
* Slower than the ff. MediaGX?!$!
However, if you really want a US unit, you can consider the Casio Fiva. It's almost
the same size as the 100CT/110CT.
The only other alternative I can think of off the top of my head is the Palmax
touchscreen units. If you are interested in them, Amherst (.co.uk) might be a good
start, but I'm not sure where you would buy them.
As for eBay, if the sellers have previously been given positive feedback, then they
are a safer bet than somebody with a feedback rating of zero. If you want to be safer,
ask for the use of i-Escrow. If they refuse, ask for a valid reason for why. Somebody
who refuses to use Escrow without a valid reason is grounds for suspicion.
Used units come in varying conditions, so you're just gonna have to hope that the
seller was honest with their description of the unit.
If you really want to buy used, I would recommend private sales over auctioned units.
