No problem at all, out with the old, in with the new (after removing spacers), then booted with the original Windows 95b installation disc in the external floppy drive. Windows determined that the drive was not formatted, asked whether I wanted Windows to format the drive to FAT32, answered yes, and Windows formatted the drive to FAT 32 and seamlessly continued with installing Windows 95b ( all 20+ floppies !) The result was a single "C" drive with a formatted capacity of 5.54 GB. I did not have to use fdisk at all or any other software to get the full capacity of the new drive in a single partition. Hope this helps, Michael Heathcote. ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------UNSUBSCRIBE------- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=cmd:unsubscribe --------UNSUBSCRIBE DIGEST------ Use above but add DIGEST to the subject line... **************************************************************
