Subject: L50 (Bios 6.50) HDD Upgrade with MK6014MAP (6 Giga)
Hi Everyone,
Has anyone managed to upgrade the Libretto 50CT having a Bios Version 6.50
with a HDD from Toshiba - MK6014MAP (6 Giga).
I am not able to manage to do it properly and I get a message "This Basic
was aborted, because this machine has no rom Basic" when I try to boot using
directly the HDD (I formatted the HDD with a bootable external floppy and
partionned into 3 logical drives).
I saw few mails about the use of the MK6411MAT saying that the Pin 28 and 30
should be shorted to make it work. Is it the same for MK6014MAP - need some
advice from someone who has some experience of MK6014MAP drive.
Can someone help me to understand this and to solve the problem.
I will be very greatful to all.
