My favourite easily obtainable one is the D-Link DE 660 for a 10 MBit
one.  Works a treat in Linux from all know distributions.  I use a
compaq Netelligent for 10/100 but that's because I happen to have one. 
Look in the PCMCIA SUPPORTED.CARDS file for others.  Pretty much any
NE2000 clone should work.
