Subject: Overclocking report.

:-)

Hi all,

Some may remember me writing about my overclocking my L50 (P75 chip oc to
100 MHz). All's well, but I just had my first thermal shutdown. Scary!

I was running PCAnywhere and doing a few file transfers through the SCM
PCMCIA NIC. Strange thing though, I did the same yesterday for much longer
and all was ok. Only difference is that I put back the normal battery today,
to make the unit smaller. I usually run my Libby with the extended batpack.
It probably didn't have much of a charge, but still, that shouldn't have any
say in the matter.

So now I'm thinking of getting one of those black aluminium frozen meat
thawers advertised on TV-Shop to put my Libby on when using PCA... :-)

br

Franklin
