Subject: Re: i.shuttle help
That is wonderful. Thats exactly what I wanted to know. I am going to be
playing alot more with the i.shuttle in particular, and am starting it as
a major pet project because I want that and the scoopy video capture
device supported under other operating systems.
I understand that toshiba while providing an SDK for the ishuttle, has not
been able to help with the video capture device due to other companies
involvement and they cannot release enough information without an NDA to
create a drive that can be source shared with everyone, but hopefully I
can manage to at least get a kernel module for one of the free unix
systems to support this in the future.
I expect the timeline for this to take months, but the 1100 is my first
windows machine and Im not too big on using it if I can do anything to
stop it.
Thank you so much for the pointers in the right direction. I hope to
have more updates in the future regarding my project. My biggest concern
now that I can make it work under windows in a way I would like, is
getting the documentation toshiba has provided translated so I can begin
playing with the ishuttle alot more.
Thanks so much for your help
Mike
