Subject: 50ct Screen (again)
OK Folks,
After re-examining my faulty 50ct here's what I see:
As it boots up the screen seems to flash (if you weren't watching it you
wouldn't see it flash), then the lower half of the screen glows in some
uninterpretable format (with color - mostly a shade between white and green).
This glow is fairly solid color, but there is some hint of streaking going on
as well. The lower half glow lasts at most 1 second, then the entire screen
goes blank never to brighten again until the computer is cycled on and off.
Now does this sound like a backlight or an LCD screen driver?
