This is simply daylight robbery!!! Are you
sure they are quoting you in USD instead
of RM, the Malaysian currency? I bought
a 6GB Toshiba drive for my L70 2 months
ago and it only cost me S$380 (Singapore
dollars)...or roughly USD$216.

Actually, I would recommend that you find out
the cause of your Libby's problem from the
Toshiba Service Center. If a hard drive is needed,
please go to a local shopping mall to get one,
not from the Service Center. When I bought my
hard disk, they have a data recovering service
for a small fee as well.

BTW, if you can, Singapore is a much cheaper
and reliable place to get harddisks.

I would not recommend this unless you know what
you are doing! I managed to fry my original L70's
1.6GB drive by plugging it to my PC. Please consult
an experience person before trying this yourself.

Hope this helps.
