Curious...I've used it for years in the same setup - CT50/100MHz. Works fine
for me with the provisio that it *can't* cool the machine if the processor
utilisation gets to 100%. So most of the time it's fine, even with
setiathome running (though I don't hunt aliens on that machine at present).
Oddly, under linux it runs cooler to the touch (slightly) but setiathome
runs with enough processor to overheat in two or three hours...I guess the
linux code must be denser somehow: maybe less memory or disc accesses and
therefore more time spent in the processor core...it shows seti as having
99.9% utilisation.
