This Ebay history is completely true. A Dynamism.com employee did,
mistakenly, post more machines on Ebay than we actually had for sale. Then,
stupidly, tried to "buy" our own machines back to cover the shortfall in
stock. (It is worth noting that if one were going to try to "doctor" the
bid, they would probably bother to set up a Hotmail or other such account.)
We apologize for wasting everyone's time by posting units that were not
available, and for improper bidding on Ebay. We have indefinitely suspended
all Ebay activities; it is unlikely that we will ever use Ebay again.
The additional demos were available AFTER the Ebay event had taken place.
We will offer this poster, or anyone who was outbid on a Libretto 1100v
demo unit by a Dynamism.com bidder the opportunity to purchase one of the
new Libretto 1100v that we have in stock at his/her most recent bid price,
while stock supplies last.
NOTE: This offer was sent to the original poster yesterday, and is being
resent today. As of this mail, we are on the verge of running out of stock
again. Anyone who is interested in this offer should notify us immediately.
