Subject: Re: Libretto ff1100
I'm going to modify a Belkin USB to Serial adapter, so that it will communicate with,
and power, a smart card programmer, that I need for a project I'm working on. The
programmer is already set up to get it's 5 volts from a PS/2 port, but my ff1100
doesn't have a PS/2 port, or a DB9 serial
port. So, now that I know the same amount of power exists in the ff1100's USB port, I
can graft to two together and have a USB programmer. Cut a 3 foot USB cable down to
about a foot, and I'll have a really nifty setup.
I'm using BIOS version 7.20
