You can install Win2k without a bootable CD-ROM, by looking for a
"bootdisk.exe" or "makeboot.exe" or some similar name. Microsoft doesn't
advertise it very much, as they want youto run Win2K on nice new machines
(made inthe last few years), which are *almost* guaranteed to have bootable
CD-ROM drives.

considering a 12 Gig upgrade for my L110, for nice, big, dual-OS
configuration...
