Douglas,
I agree with you... I was told that I could get a refund from the
1st time I complained since you didn't have anymore units available... I
can understand that since it is discontinued & if you don't have anymore you
don't have anymore... But I really liked that unit so I decided to have it
repaired.
And you are right, I was never given assurance I was just told that
it usually takes about 2 weeks... That was fine. But you are right, there
were no assurances just a guesstimate.
However, I got back from my trip & called on Nov 28th. 2 weeks
after I had shipped it out & was told it was still in Japan. Then another
week later, on Dec 5th, I was told that it had been shipped out from Japan
on Dec 1st & should be arriving the next day or two in Chicago.
That was fine. But when I called later that week to see where it
was at... I was told that my unit was shipped out on Dec 4th from Japan &
had not arrived yet... Two calls, two different stories. This was the
agitated mode I was in when I wrote the one complaint. I never published a
complaint before that day on the subject of my 1100V... It was the feeling
that you changed your story that annoyed me & didn't know what to believe
since no one would give me a date as to when I would get my 1100V back.
        To continue my agitation.
Then when I called on Friday Dec 8th I was told that it was going
out on Friday & would arrive on Monday. Monday (Dec 11th, yesterday) it did
not arrive & so I called & was given a tracking number which FedEx told me
had not yet been used.
I called Dynamism/Dave & he insisted that it had gone out & should
have arrived on yesterday, Monday& that FedEx was having computer troubles.
Funny, that later that night the FedEx website now registered it as valid &
showed that it had been picked up from chicago that night at 6:37pm... One
can only assume that I was lied to. It had not gone out as I had been
told... And it is this type of stuff that agitates me... This apparent
non-truths!
I thought I was getting a bargain when you promised to honor the
failed Ebay auction fiasco... But I think it is not worth the hassle... I
have not received the unit yet but I believe that I will take you up on the
100% refund. I had hoped for good things & had already bought 2 extra
batteries from another vendor as they were cheaper since I had been planning
on taking this unit to China which obviously did not work out... But I give
up... I will eat the cost of the 2 batteries & expect a full refund on the
unit, the floppy disk, the RAM that I bought from you. It is just not worth
the agitation! Please send me an RMA so I can send it back. Though I have
yet to receive it.
        Sincerely
        Elena Fong
