Subject: IBM HDD
I was looking to replace my damaged (currently wheezing its last) 6.4G
Toshiba HDD, and the only one I can easily source locally is the IBM 10G
DJSA-210 HDD (9.5mm height, no problem with the +8G size as the 1050 bios
will recognise it).
Just one question though - I recall that when people were dropping the 20G
IBM drive into their librettos they had to run a jumper across a couple of
the pins to make it work - any idea what exactly this was or if it applies
to this drive?
