all of the 20GB HDs will work. SOme of the Toshiba's have the annoying point
that Toshiba wired them as C/S (cable select) rather than the usual
Master/Slave jumpers.

In any case, let's say you pick the IBM 20GB 9.5mm. No problems having it run
in a Libretto with the exception that if you're BIOS doesn't see anything over
8GB during Fdisk, you'll need to:
1) Run a disk manager program (eg. IBM provides one for free) and partition
that way.
2) Run an OS that ignores the BIOS (eg. Windows 2000, Linux) and format/fdisk
using their tools.
3) Run Partition Magic and partition in a desktop (worked for one guy, who
knows what long term effects are).

 In any case, the biggest concern is that you need to pay attention to where
the Libretto is dropping the hibernation partition. Usually, it's at the end
of 8GB on older Librettos, so you'll need to create a <8GB partition before it,
and another big partition after it. Otherwise, hibernating to HD will
overwrite some of your data.

 Beyond that, I guess I'll have to get around to summarizing and posting the
>8GB in a Libretto posts I've gathered (also on my Libretto Information CD; see
my website below). I'll try to do that in the upcoming week.
