Subject: graphic card bus type in 50 CT ?
hi everyone ,
I am still installing a redhat 7 on a european libretto 50 CT ,
and I still have a problem with XFree86 and Xconfigurator ,
after a dozen installations without success ,
I , at last , identify the problem :
it seem to be the graphic card bus type , I always thought that it was a
PCI one ,
but before the XFree86 warning , there was another one I ignored because
.....
because....because I hope it s a PCI , but XFree seem to be sure that it
s an ISA
bus wich control the CT65550 ,
who is right ?
me or xfree ?
PCI or ISA ?
I searched in the user's manual , in the david's site , in the utilities
provided by win98 ,
and norton , but the truth seem to be out there ........
I need this technical info before bothering XFree86.org with my little
tiny problem ....
is anyone can help ?
