On Libretto 50 CT, I use a kernel (now 2.4.0) compiled for ISA bus.
Mandrake installation have installed Xfree-3.3.6 with FB (Frame Buffer)
I have changed it to XFree86-SVGA-3.3.6-18mdk
I do not try RedHat 7, but I thinl it is quite the same as Mandrake 7.2
