At the minimum, try overclocking to 100Mhz assuming that if it doesn't work
and kills the L50, it isn't that great of a loss ($ wise).
It does make it noticably snappier and what the L50 should have been set at
anyways.
My site for my overclocking article; make sure the heat sink properly
contacts the CPU with thermal grease (thin, thin layer); and run AMNHLT or
CPUIDLE, too afterwards. Just one pin to cut, so it's a simple upgrade.
