Subject: Libretto Price Check?
All,
Well ive realized that my trusty libby hasnt been seeing much use lately,
largely do to a combination of a pocket-pc and a PIII notebook supplied by
my employer. While i really like the little guy and would hate to see it
go... i find myself thinking of selling it so someone else can put it to use
(and i can reclaim some desk space)
So... im not sure im gonna sell it yet, but im curious what my setup would
go for in the current market...
Libretto 50ct
100mhz overclocked processor
- no problems whatsoever with heat etc. although i do run RAIN to extend
battery life & reduce heat.
32mb RAM
810mb HD
Standard Port Replicator
Enhanced Port Replicator (with pcmcia slot)
Standard battery - Holds charge (about 60min runtime iirc)
Extended Battery - Used very little in nearly new condition.
External Floppy Drive
AC Adapter
3COM 33.6 modem / 10/100 ethernet combo card.
Targus Case (the small one)
Currently running Win95
Related Items I may include if its worth it...
- Webgear wireless network kit... ISA expansion card, 2 PCMCIA nic cards...
works great in the libby for wireless internet in your house. :)
- Paralell port ZIP drive.
So any idea what this would go for? Ive looked on ebay but the prices seem
to vary widely and often have little to do with the actual worth of the
hardware, and more to do with who happened to see the auction links <g>
