I was using my 50CT as an mpeg jukebox AND running moving map software
with GPS input at the same time - without any problems - well, it DID
stutter whenever a new map had to be loaded from disk (several
megabytes). It was overclocked to 100MHz and was running Rain to keep
it cool. OS was Win95B. But that extra 25MHz made all the difference!
I thnk you should try that.
