I would like to share my experience with all the community. I have a Libretto 50CT
with 32mb ram 3.2GB hard disk. I have overclock the machine with 166 Mhz running
Windows 2000 Professional. The machine can boot and enter Win 2000 but it has
automatic shut down after running for 35 min due to CPU overheat. Then I installed a
CPU cooling program call CPUidle Pro for NT/2000 version 1.0, the machice is cool
enough to work non stop for 3 days with Office 2000, Internet Explorer and Photoshop.
However some CPU intensive program will cause the CPU overheat ie Disk defragment. For
alternative, may be you can try it at www.cpuidle.de for shareware version. For
registration you need to pay for USD 20 for Win 98/ME USD30 for Win 2000/NT.
