If you use an OS that bypasses the BIOS (eg. Linux) and sees the full
capacity of the HD by itself, then you can put the hibernation partition at the
8GB limit (what the Libretto BIOS puts it - the Linux code doesn't replace the
Int13 calls like EZ-Drive does).
However, you may not even be able to do this at all if the BIOS is confused
and can't even boot from the 20GB correctly w/o EZ-Drive.

If you use a HD manager like EZ-Drive, you should test. It should let the
Libretto see all 20GB, and put the hibernation partition at the end of one big
20GB partition, but no testing by users have confirmed this one way or another.
This should work because upon boot to even DOS, the ez-drive program replaces
the Libretto 50 BIOS's Int13 calls with software designed to see all 20GB, and
the Libretto BIOS's hibernation function can now correctly ask the HD to give
it the true 'end-of-HD' and put the hibernation partition there.

Beyond that, forget it. The L50 BIOS is too old to see >8GB w/o help -
easiest way is to use a HD manager like EZ-Drive on the Libretto, partition and
format from there and off you go.

Again, please test to see if with EZ-Drive/etc. it correctly puts the
hibernation partition at the end of 20GB (vs. 8GB) and let us know.

Oh, and do recall that some 20GB Toshiba 9.5mm HDs may have the CSEL problem
where you must physically jumper the drive yourself to get it into standard
Master/Slave mode as a Master drive. IBM's don't have this problem.
