Subject: One final attempt

Thanks to the Libretto list for all the help yesterday
on my ethernet card install.

I am going to give it one last try tonight, before going
to compusa to look for a card that Anthony recommended.

So here is my question about the ethernet install.
How can I let my libretto know that the floppy is no longer
present? When I insert the ethernet card, the control
panel always defaults to look for the floppy disk, and if
I have an ethernet card there, I get a big delay.

Also, what does plug and play mean? My SMC8040 card says
it is plug and play, but it is really plug and reformat disk
and don't play.

Thanks,

John Shepardson
