The DVD player from CardPort DVD ( go to
http://www.cnfinc.com/Multiframe.html and navigate through PRODUCTS to DVD
players ) works well and can take power from the PCMCIA socket OR an A/C
adapter. I believe it is NOT CardBus required which is good.

The MARGI decoder card works pretty well. It requires a ZV Zoomed Video
socket. When playing back on a stock Libretto 100 there are occasional audio
breakups. Also one or 2 of my regular DVD videos will not play, causing a
Fatal Exception, but on at least one you can IGNORE it and it will play. The
audio problem is the same when played on the internal LCD display or
external from the dongle. That puts out video and stereo audio, or S-VHS
video. I am not sure if there is a PAL/SECAM/NTSC difference, or whether
that difference is in the DVD regions.

I did buy a video CD destined for England once that looked fine on the
internal LCD but turned out to be PAL when played on the Margi dongle, which
leads me to believe that the dongle is NOT what differentiates the video,
but rather the media itself.
