Not to be a cynic, but I would expect that's exactly why they DID go to
a new proprietary power connector -- to try to force people upgrading
from earlier Libretto's to buy new accessories, and to make it harder
to roll your own. They probably get a much better margin on
accessories than they do on the actual computers.
Ticks me off though, one of the main reasons I haven't upgraded yet
(are you reading this Toshiba?)
