Subject: Re: Original size Libretto with 160 MB RAM? Wishful thinking?

Ken Hansen is right. Transcend confirms there are no plans to make an 128 MB module
for Portege.
The comment I read only means that such module could work for Portege.
Still not clear if such module would also work in Libretto M3.
The limit on Libretto M3 RAM expansion remains at 96 MB. /ken

I think the key is that the 128 Meg part has never been developed.
I have 2 Portages, a 3015ct and a 3025ct, and have looked for a while at
upgrade options for these machines, the best I could find was a 64 meg part.
Sorry, Ken

A friend of mine is auctioning a new Libretto M3. A new unit, not a new model.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1236645619

A potential buyer asked him how to upgrade to the maximum RAM
and the friend asked me what do I know about it.
While searching the web to answer his question
I found a reference that gives me some hope
that RAM in this model could be expanded beyond
the 96 MB limit specified by Toshiba.
Is there such hope for other Libretto models?
